Anybody else get bitten by this bug? It's apparently respoinsible for up to 7% of all the emails worldwide the past couple days.

Randy, would you let us know what steps we should take to make sure we've erradicated this thing from my computer? I've run my antivirus and microsoft updates and adaware, but I'm still getting the emails.... :(

Our company was hit but it was caught by NAV and MXLogic. We are just getting the shell of the mail now.

So since I believe I've gotten rid of the virus/worm, any mail I am getting is coming from outside (i.e. other people whose computers are still infected)? Am I understanding this correctly?

Thanks... I understand Spyware and what it does, but these emails that look like they're coming from people I know still have me baffled and frustrated.

I'm in the area and will be swinging by Dave's office in the morning. Hopefully will have time to drop by and see Jonathan over at LoD and if I can only find the Aston dealership... well... till then Dave - don't click on any of those darned attachments!

Thanks to a very extensive consulting session with Randy W. (Schatten), My computers are all running at tip-top shape and intercepting those stupid emails properly.

I'm now 100% back in the game, and if you're getting any of those emails still, they ain't coming from my sh*tbox!

    Thanks Randy!!!

anything from "mailing error" to "your password" to "registration confirmation" to "your email was blocked"... the telltale sign is the attatched Zip file.
