The San Gabriel Valley region of the Porsche Club of America is sponsoring a fun gimmick rally on Saturday, November 2.

The rally will be a photo/trivia scavenger hunt type event with locations around Los Angeles that are somehow related to automobiles, aviation or aerospace. If you're into airplanes, there will be many stops that will be of interest.

No particular knowledge will be required and this will not be a competitive rally with stopwatches and odometers. Locations will be up to the participants, so you won't have to go to locations you aren't interested in or deem unsuitable.

There is no need to be a PCA member or become otherwise involved in PCA events. The hosting club is a Porsche club, but entry is open to all marques.

There is lots of info on the blog set up just for the event - PCA SGVR Fun Rally ? November 2, 2013 | LA Automobiles, Aviation and Aerospace. You can also find the registration form - fill it out and send it in by October 28 to get in on the fun.

Questions? PM me or contact me through the rally blog.

Yes, this invite is going to be cross posted in other places, so apologies for the duplication if you've already seen elsewhere.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Sounds like fun! Too bad I'll be in Vegas prepping for SEMA.

No worries. Maybe next time. If you happen to see the Falken Porsche that won its class at Petit LeMans on display, would love to see a photo. Sounds like they were taking it from the track to the display floor without a bit of cleaning.
