    Damm,

The one Thanksgiving I'd like to take the car, Rain forecast.. My 86-328GTS passenger window motor died yesterday.. It's all torn down and the brushes are shot.

ANYONE know of a Napa part that crosses ??? ( I read a 100+ threads here last night and no-luck ) My tracks, spring & coil are fine, therefore swapping the motor gutts would be fine.......

AND if there's no quick fix at Napa and I'm SOL where can I fine one ??? ( I read one post (Tillman) saying the replacement factory part didnt work and he just rebuilt his old one, PM response pending)

Any help would be appreciated...! Sorry about another window thread !
    Thanks guys..
    Patrick

ASLO: Anyone have a spare (Manual) door handle crank ?? I have the caps in my panels that allow access... ! I refuse to get stuck again..!

I too have dealt with this. Mere connection is not enough. Have you bench tested the motor ? The window switches are notorious. Btw, both switches need to be connected to make the circuit complete. This means all of the contacts in both switches (driver and passenger) need to be cleaned.

If the motor is still dead call Daniel at Ricambi.

    Regards,

    Stew
