    Probably twenty years ago Motalban was on the David Letterman Show and they asked him about the Corinthian Leather. He said at the time that they just made up the name because it sounded luxurious.

    I always thought it was "rich Corinthian leather", but that was a whole lotta beers ago. He seemed to have had a solid career, and I never heard anything bad said about him. Godspeed, Mr. Montalban.
