    I asked my dealer to reverse the DCT software change that eliminated the snap, crackle and pops on overruns on my 2011 which I loved. He said they couldn't but suggested pluging the valve hoses to get it back

    Anyone have this done? Did it effectively get the overrun sounds back? Did it change the sound to be too loud all the time?

    What software update did you get that eliminated that? Also did the car feel any different performance wise?

    afaik plugging the valve hoses will not get it back; you might want to ask the dealer
    why they cant put the old software back..

    Lou, I have a 2011 and my mechanic said there are no updates and have not been for some time on the 2011. If possible can you post the upgrade number and what it was for?

    No upgrade number just notice that a gear box software change was done plus updated software for the NCM, NCR, and ION ecu's?????
