So I've been struggling like a fish out of water for a while to find a way to read my 2003 Ferrari 360 ECU including the TCU which is really not accessible through an OBD2 reader.

There were some pointers posted in an earlier thread here but recently there has been radio silence in responses/etc.

The good news is that I have figured out the path to get a Bluetooth OBD2 reader and software that can access the 360 ECUs, as well as the TCU and read/set things such as PIS, Clutch wear, etc., etc.

Attached is a screenshot. The price to get in the game was a few hundred $ which is an amazing feat given the fact that this car doesn't have to see a SD2+ system again.

So it's the x451 launch tool that doesn't allow decimal entry for PIS setting right? Well, that's useless to me.

This reads X-431 Launch tool; haven't tried to set up decimal points into the PIS yet but looks pretty versatile including low level bit reading/etc.

I think it does have a place though.. it does read alot more than any obd tool like eobd facile and torque and gives alot of real time data

Can be used by the owner if has the skills to quickly see what maybe an issue and then for serious work bring to someone with sd tool ..

Someone .iirc .said they managed to set the kiss point using this tool using another measurement / settting .. not the pis

Can somebody advise on how to read the clutch wear value? IT says use the parameter section of the software but I can't seem to find it...

Also is the same gearbox for the 360 accessible through any of the other vehicles (i.e. did the Maserati have a car which used the same box and does the feature work better through other vehicles)?

You'll find Clutch Wear Value as a parameter within Read Data Stream. You should see that value as a 4-digit number. There are threads here on how to interpret that reading.
