I turned over my 6 year baby girl over to her new owner on Saturday. I couldn't help thinking 'what have I done' as I saw her drive out of sight. She was the best car I have eevr owned! 110k trouble free miles in a 5 passenger sedan that can run with most 2 seat sports cars. I only hope my new e60 M5 proves to be as much fun and reliable...time will tell.

Sellout!!!!!!...........Just kidding, congrats on the new M5, post a review and compare them when you can, I'm close to 100k on my M5 now, got a brief drive in the new model the other day, but not enough to form any lasting impressions.

MSRP is $81,200. By the time I got my order optioned out it is $94,200 which includes a $3000 gas guzzler tax and $695 destination charges.

I just found out my mew e60 M5 is scheduled to be built the 20th week of 2006, which is the week of 5-17-06. I will get it around 4 weeks later . I have still not made up my mine whether to pick the car up at the dealer or take delivery at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina where you get some track time with instruction in a BMW owned e60 M5 as well as a factory tour and t-shirt. Here is a short video of an e60 M5 being driven at the BMW Performance Center (watch until the end) http://www.alpcomm.com/bmw_videos/UTD.mov
