    Cliff Notes: I bought a Speciale!!!

    My story: Those words have been ingrained in my head for over 35 years. The first time I had seen a Ferrari in the flesh was 1983 or '84. Until then the only Ferrari I had seen was on Magnum Pi or in Car magazines. Since then I have echoed those words in my head thousands of time; during Medical school and Residency and years of sleepless nights studying or working, during 19+ years of private practice. I own or have owned a NSX, a GT3, 2 McLarens, a RS but I have never bought a Ferrari. I have probably walked into Boardwalk Ferrari 10-15 times in the past 25 years but told myself "I have made it quite yet". It is just a way to challenge myself to be a better Doctor, business man, father etc.

    I walked into Boardwalk 2 months ago and saw a Speciale on the floor. It was a beautiful RC with NART stripe. I have been thinking of looking for a Speciale but until then had been just looking a bit online. I figured I would wait until taxes etc. and then start looking for something. I was originally thinking of getting a F12 since it would be a nice GT car to add to my other 2 cars(NSX and RS) but that Speciale got my attention. I have been looking for the past 2 months. I was originally looking for a RS with stripe but the RC with NART that I saw originally kept pulling at my heartstrings. I contacted many dealers but in the end decided that getting a local car with a known history and classic spec would be the best way to enter into Ferrari world.

    I bought it the one I saw on the floor 2 weeks ago and He(Schumi) was delivered a week ago. I will post a review later when I have some time.

    Last NA V8, most powerful NA V8, amazing aesthetics, extremely powerful with great performance, nimble , quick and in my opinion very collectible and one of the best all around Ferraris in many many years. I made the same decision as you 1.5 years ago...Argento with the black roof option. I simply love this Ferrari and it still amazes me just to look at it and even more when I get behind the wheel!

    May you enjoy it in the best of health and happiness. Drive it, wash it, drive it, sit in it late at night and listen to the stereo...oh wait, ignore that last part. Maybe just start the engine and listen to it instead :)

    My Speciale was one of my favorite cars of all time. You have great taste

    Great story. Beautiful car. Maintaining a child like excitement for whatever is of interest is one of life's great pleasures. You only die once but hopefully one lives a long, healthy life. Must attempt to enjoy every moment. Pleasure delayed is pleasure denied.
