    1 could be some mud badly rinsed which dried before the car was next moved

    2 could be a flexible mount but its not too clear where it is - if you look at Ricambi's parts book it should show if thats original

    I agree with GREYBOXER that the upper picture looks like dried dirt or mud.

    The lower picture is of the oil return hose at the bottom of the right side cam cover. The hose is spiral constructed so it have a layered look to it. It's a bit swelled up but not anything to worry about, easy to replace.

    The mud could be from a flood.. If that car was in some flood waters that were very muddy bingo.. Be careful. On the other photo - agree with Carguy..
