My true passion would be a 04-05 575 three pedal.

This one seems very interesting to me though....

What is the feelings here on this one, miles, price?

    Thank you.

That price is well up into 575M territory, but the car is pretty much new. Probably overpriced by $10K or so.

A low mile garage queen like that can become a money pit...

    Ask me how I know.

Not only that, the minute you start putting miles on it that extra premium immediately evaporates. As much as I love 550's they aren't collectible so there's no reason to overpay for it.

Assuming the PPI gives it a clean bill of health and they're willing to negotiate price, it may be worth the "newness" premium if it's really the car you want. Else, I agree it's a bit high for its age.

that guy has a reputation for selling perfect stuff.......

looks cheap to me and i think 550/575 (especially silver on black ones under 10k miles) are about the go vertical in price.

It's not possible for anyone to call the price on things these days. Let the market dictate...i.e. real buyers and real sellers.

It all depends on condition, mileage and history. (What's the VIN? Not published on website?) If the service history checks out and the number of owners is reasonable this car looks like the one I would've purchased had I not acquired one just like it in October, albeit at double the miles. To me the asking price is not a turnoff.

Seems to me that there a couple kinds of buyers out there: Collectors are looking for low mileage cars with complete documentation and no issues. Drivers are looking for solid cars that have been well maintained but which are not necessarily perfect. IMO, collectors would in fact pay ~$88K for this car if it all checks out to their criteria. If you are going to drive it and not collect it, the implied premium on this car may not be worth it relative to other cars with higher mileage. What's "higher mileage"? After all, 20,000 miles on a 10 year old car is also low mileage so wear on such a car should not be an issue if properly maintained.

    Just my $0.02
