I e-mailed to Kimmotor about that car before they received. If it IS the car in the photo, http://www.kimmotor.com/detail.asp?...rari&Stock=1949, it sure looks like an excellent project. They told me that it had been in a "deep flood". I guess that means submerged. Makes me wonder if that is really the same car that's in the photo. If I was closer, I would be driving to take a look at it.

It's so terrible to see such a beautiful car like the 360 Modena go down like that! Oh well, what can you do. Inexperienced drivers that are loaded with cash, this is what they do.

Learn to drive the f'g car, not destroy it. Give it to someone else if you can't.

one thing i gotta say, that's a helluva way to go out! it would be better to be able to be killed in a highspeed crash in your ferrari without damaging it though.

There was a fire in the engine compartment. It looks like the car was parted out to the point of what remains.

What exactly were you basing your wholesale condemnation of a driver on? How do you even know there was a driver in it when it roasted?

i believe that would be an "assumption"

Generally when a very fast car has been destroyed and appears to have rolled and burned, there is some driver error involved.

9 times out of 10 the cause of destruction lies in human hands.

I think he'd have been crazy to assume that it was a fault of the automobile itself.

However, we all know that to assume is to make an ASS of U and ME...

Spend the $65, save the car, or save the $65 and trash a work of art.
Either way, don't drive an F-car without a good extinguisher. Assumption based upon primarily the engine compartment to the rear being burnt, if the owner were away, I strongly doubt the car would have any resemblence to a motorized vehicle.

What was the first clue of rollover? The completely undamaged roof?

I'm guessing the fact the steering wheel air bag didn't deploy would suggest this was a ferocious "crash", eh?

It never ceases to amaze me what kind of BS assumptions people make when they see messed up cars as well as the disrespectful remarks they make about people they don't know and situations about which they don't have the first detail or fact.

Fcars (and Lambos) are famous for being fireballs. I'd love to see where you obtained the research responsible for this conclusion:

"9 times out of 10 the cause of destruction lies in human hands"

I've seen many Fcars (especially 360s - not involved in accidents) post roast which looked considerably better than this one even. Again, more assumptions being made about a) whether the owner had an extinquisher b) a good samaritan did or c) the speed with which the fire dept arrived.
