    Had a sports car track and unusually a few Lambo's made an appearence, only 2 ventured out onto the track though which was a bit of pity...had an awesome passenger ride in a Diablo a few years ago...sideways through every corner.

    Now not to offend any Lambo owners of enthusiasts its interesting to compare the Diablo to the new order of Lambo's for some reason to me its a much more desireable car, much rawer, meaner sounding.

    In comparison the Gallardo seems calmer, more appealing to more people but somehow not as wild....I know this is very controversial....Though I must say the Lp640 Roadster did sound mean at idle....didnt go onto the track sadly

    There was also a very rare Diable SVR there, dont know too much about this car so if anyone has info...this was by far the most shatteringly loud of the lot.....

    Yes we have a few raging bulls in South Africa, sadly they arent seen often....was pretty surprised to see a LP640 Roadster though....

    South Africa is very modernized, it is not all jungle and animals on the free. lol :D

    Great pictures. I've seen a lot of pictures of nice cars from South Africa, so I've known for a few years now it's a pretty nice place to live.

    If you want to know anything SVRs, just ask roytoy. :)

    For owning an exotic car SA is an awesome place to live, great weather most of the time and within a hour of the city center you have some truly magnificent traffic free roads. Few years ago went on a 350 km drive in a Murcielago, in a hour I dont think we dropped below 240 km/h once....topped out at 295 km/h on a fairly straight section, but this was about 150 km from the nearest small town and the roads were very quiet...

    I saw a Lamborghini about once every two months or so in the Northern suburbs of Jo'burg when I lived there ('98 - '05). A couple of nice Gallardos for instance. There's also a great paintwork shop next to Kyalami racetrack that does a lot of Lamborghini and Ferrari work. I've seen two Diablos there.

    LP640 roadster.....wow! Some car.

    True they are much more "common" in JHB than they are in Cape Town, that shop near the track is the official apporved panel beater, they do excpetional work....there is practically nothing they cannot fix/rebuilt.

    You see them all the time up here in JHB. I see one every 2nd day.

    We had a Lamborghini run last month to the Vaal dam, but I was sadly unable to attend, had 12 cars on the run including a Jalpa!

    I know little about Lambos but why do you say that isnt a SVR, it has badges to that effect on the rear, what were the main differances between the SVR and other Diablo's?

    Perhaps so, but there's no denying this was one of the most respected, famous, and very successful SVR's in the Diablo Supertrophy.
