    $40k doesn’t sound that much in that case. An Interceptor with no needs is a $70k car

    Yep I went and had a look,I'd have been a bit interested in a couple of the Alfa's.
    The Alfetta is the same as my son's and the 1750 would have been fun.

    I would not use US prices as a guide, they don’t have a great following.

    Very popular in the UK at the moment. $40k still seems very cheap to me

    Yeah, I checked the UK sites and they were circa 70-80k Euro but there were some cheapies amongst them ........ you could buy one, spend heaps and then they would become a cult car and as usual you'd make a killing :)
