I know what you're thinking, ordering the DVD online is more discreet than going into the store.

The Smithsonian Museum catalog had an exact replica of the famous red parrot shirt the Mag wore. Apparantly, Tom Sellack (?sp) donated the shirt to the museum, who then commissioned some replicas. (this was a few years ago). I, of course, own one!
Who didnt want to be Magnum?!?!?!?

Mash finale had an audience of 110million viewers (all-time high), Cheers second with 8X million, then Sienfeld and Friends (sienfeld having just 3mln more than friends....

Out of all the other shows out there in the history of the Tube, Magnum P.I. had the next largest fan base for the finale... some 55 million viewers. Beating Dallas, etc.

Now tell me, why wouldn't Magnum still be re-run? The only time I could catch it was when I visited my sister in Raleigh NC. At 2:30 am. That was two years ago.

    Go figure.

When I was on Oahu several years ago I was able to go where they were filming an episode in which the Ferrari had supposedly been wrecked. They put some crinkly red cellophane on the side, which looked real on screen. These don't show that, but were some I got then.
