Hi all, new guy here, I have a pretty huge collection of diecast, mostly old Lesney Matchbox, but I also have plenty of others as well. I used to be into customizing Hot Wheels and MB before it became a collectible craze (15 years ago), and I've just started to photo catalog my collection. Hopefully you will enjoy these:

First is a Hot Wheels 308 GTB that started life as a "beater" car that I stripped, polished the windows, changed the wheels to the closest thing I could find to Ferrari wheels, and airbrushed it red.

2nd is a Majorette 288 GTO that I stripped, repainted red, added some cool rubber tire wheels, and white racing stripe decals.

3rd is a Hot Wheels Ferrari 250 that I painted black, added Ferrari style wheels and a badge on the hood. (HW came out with a similar version 2 years after I made this one)

4th is just an old Matchbox Ferrari truck I ran across and have held onto, sorry for the poor photo.

Thanks for looking, & let me know what you think. I'll try to get all my other Ferraris photographed over the next few weeks.

Cool stuff. I remember when I used to do the whole model kit contest scene, one year at the NNL East in Parsippany there were these two guys that brought all this 1:64 Hot Wheels based models. Amazing work. They had no Ferraris but mostly street rods. But man the detail was amazing. Ignition wires, plumbing, air brushed flames etc.
    Keep it coming

Yeah, some of the stuff is crazy, my later work included body modification and much nicer paint, but there were a few guys who were off the hook with this stuff!
