I finally got around to picking up some frames for the posters I picked up at various shows this year...

I still need to get a frame for the Pirelli Gallardo poster, I bought all the 24x36 frames they had :) The other poster I need a frame for is my Pebble Beach Concours show... anyone have one? if so were you able to find a frame for it, or did you have to have it custome framed?

Anyway, here are some pics of the posters in their new homes...

    last one...

Now that I look at 'em - It's cool to think that I've seen the actual cars in the Meadowbrook poster, the F40 Prototype in the Pirelli poster, the 275 in the Concorso Italiano poster (as well as the Bizz), and lastly, the 512 in the Monterey Historics poster...

My Monterey Historics, FCA2004, Concorso, and Pirelli posters are at the frame shop right now. Hope they come out as good as yours.

I like them all. I did not get the Saleen poster when at CI or the CI poster. I knew that Steve Saleen was to be there but did not know what time. The hotties @ the booth informed me & they did not know what time either. I did however get the other Pirelli posters (355, F40, & Gallardo). Actually I eneded up with approx. 20 of each along with a vinyl banner & a run of the flags. I also got the Monterey Historics poster. I was able to get it signed by the great Phil Hill along with my program & Ferrari hat. I will display them soon enough. I guess as afr as the CI poster goes, I may have to try to see if they have them for sale on theier site.

There was not a Concorso Italiano 2004 poster made. I bought the one on the website, which is from 2002.

There are literally hundreds of posters available at www.allposters.com on car racing and other car stuff. My personal favorites are the ones done by the French artist Geo Ham in the 1930s through 1950s. There is an exceptional 1956 LeMans poster he did....and it is availble (as a poster; not the real thing) on this site. The site actually has something like 100,000 different psoters available, on all subjects. NO affiliation with the site...however I am doing limited series T-shirts (no more than 10 of any one pattern will ever be made) of some of the posters that appear on this site...

They are sold out on the Historics website. Some on Ebay, though.
