I finally got my digital camera hooked up to the PC and downloaded some pics. Only took me 3 months or so to get around to it! Here are some pics of the Daytona at the FFQC. never mind. files sizes all too large. I thought Rossa subscribed could post some larger files size stuff? DANG. Terry
No, THE RULES allow more than 5MB TOTAL if subscribed. They still must comply with the 640 X 640, IIRC. You didn't find a nametag under the seat did ya? Mine went AWOL at the No Problems Raceway. I've been blaming your excessive G forces when cornering, for the clasp failure!
My pics are oversized, no doubt and I dont know how to resize them. Anyone who can resize for me????? PM an email and Ill send them to ya. I didnt find any clasps or stuff under the seat, but I have not looked real close either. Ill take a look tomorrow and let you know! Terry
It's probably out in the parking lot! No big deal, as Rob pointed out after checking my FCA membership status recently, it had "expired"...... I just never knew they timed out and fell off like that, when your money ran out....strange, eh? Now get busy resizing.....PITA! Frank's thread had a nice one of ya'll, at Club 360!
There's some shareware out there that'll resize......I think Paint programs can, as well........ Photo Resizer Pro.........check that out, they have a "Lite" version that's free, IIRC.
Another attempt... after getting some help! (thanks). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
funny funny..... your a very funny guy..... Believe me I tried real hard to come up with a witty retort, but alas it seems I have an egg up my a__ Screens. Brass screens. Keeps any chunks out. I also do run small microscreen filters that slip over these brass screens. Terry
LOL. To tell the truth (and I always do), I was wondering how you kept those screens from being sucked into the carbs. Many years ago, I was at a vintage motorcycle meet and a guy rode by on a Vincent at idle. He was sucking small children and dogs into the carbs. Dale
That is truly beautiful. If you get 5mins, don't suppose you'd fancy pm'ing me some ownership views. More images would also go down a treat. I'm looking to buy a car very like that very soon.
Beautiful Daytona, Terry! On the engine shot, I see something behind one of the oil filters that looks like an oil filler cap. What is it? -steve
It is an oil filler cap. My understanding is that this was stock on the early models. I have no idea at what point they stopped doing this. I have seen a fair number of other Daytonas with it. Terry
