Very interesting car, good value compared to a bonafide GTC but still with Michelotto providence

I've noticed that there are a ton of Fcar deals in Texas, seems to be the best area to buy in at the moment.

While this could be a Micho car I would buy a real racecar first like yours. The Micho car looks sort of wanna be commissioned by a guy with deep pockets. It would be cool to rip a copy of their engine mapping however. This car is a long way from being a real trackcar and questionable whether you could street it thus further narrowing the market for that car.

    I like the F40 style headlights. I can't imagine street-driving a car with a rollcage, my 348 is hard enough to enter/exit gracefully. ;)

Want those headlights myself. Goth has been making noises about making some. At my age "graceful" is not a consideration. "Upright" after exit is sufficient.

I love the idea of a roll cage in a GTS.

I wonder how much just that aspect would cost to reproduce and whether that would impact how easy the car is to use regularly.

Can't say I like the F40 headlights on it, I would miss the pop-up examples.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Thought it was street registered but when I reread it doesn't state this (just "competition use"??), I agree that the value equation changes if it isn't. Still a cool car though.

These kinds of imports can find titles. ; ) But I agree the current value is affected. Buy it Bruce.

I love how it has had everything removed for weight reduction, and yet the leather tool box is still in place. Touch of class.

It has a lot of miles for not being street legal. I wonder if those are track miles?

neat car.. considering bidding on it.. have my books out to better understand the vin. Looks like the production had the fancier star wheels and somebody swapped them for the challenge wheels.

You'll be THE man and my personal hero if you do. Make the 303 the center of the 348 universe with that car and Dave's IMSA car. There's a set of center bolt wheels floating around that would be perfect for this car...I think maybe Sy has them. Dave knows where they are.

Don't get me wrong. The micho is a wetdream for the right person. But as it sits it looks to straddle the fence narrowing its appeal instead of appealing to waxers "or" racers. It is sort of the precurser or someones idea of a 348 scud. Now if you could get that street legal and drive it to your trackdays...wow! I bet your racecar would more than give this car a run for it's money on track. You got 355 bodywork, ahem some secret motor work, tuneable ECU, big brakes and double adjustable shocks, other suspension work on the 355 rear subframe. If someone wants a 348 trackcar yours is the one to buy.
