And back already Not much new to see this year AND much smaller, only the 2 main rooms and not the 3rd extra room with parts stands like past few years. And then asking 15 Euro, same as Essen motorshow which is 10x bigger! Here are the pictures I took, first 400iA convertible, electric roof, asking 47650 Euro. 500 Mondial recreation. It said "conversion" on the sign, but it had disk brakes and a tubular frame welded from square tubes, with aluminium body, blank on the inside. So I don't think it is based on a genuine Ferrari frame. As there was no mention either of a real Ferrari engine, it had probably some 4 cilinder from a Fiat or Alfa. Claimed build cost 580.000 DM, haha! Asking, if I remember correctly, 125.000 Euro. It looked simple to build to me...
Take the mechanics from an Alfa Gilulia, weld a tubular frame, fold some alu sheets and rivet to the frame, hmmm! After my retirement, have to get a life first.
This Jean Prick Bugatti is there every year, it looks as old as its owner and probably is, come to think of it.

Speaking before turn! These are all the pics I took. There was a beautiful Lambo Miura and a 275 GTB long nose alu but I have better pictures of those already, not these close up flashlight pics. Other Ferraris there: red 308GTS, looked a bit tired but very nice interior, 37500 Euro (to much), red 348TB, 2x, about 50000 Euro, and a 456 grey metallic, didn't look for price. The Fiat 500 was not very nice up close, didn't saw the price but it should be about 1500 considering appearance. Don't know were the 500 Mondial came from, it was with a dealer with various brand classic cars.

It IS kind of sad when a Ferrari owner goes to work on a '77 Honda CB400F, and for anything further away in the train I had the Alfa and 308 fixed but then decided I had so many spare time I cut up the 308 Still need to get a new block for the Lancia, after it seized solid near Frankfurt.
I got the idea in 1987 at motorshow Essen when I saw GTO kits for sale. I was only 20 and had no money, but I was in love. The kits were painted and looked so good, and they were not even on a car! Never thought at that time I ever would be a Ferrari owner, and never thought if I was a Ferrari owner I would cut it up! When I was in Maastricht a year ago I was already busy converting but the GTO conversion I saw there definitely gave me some good idea about what NOT to do with the car!
I am planning on going for a business meeting to Maastricht this summer, from June 12-20. Any Ferrari event going on there??
