Intouch1 emailed these pictures to me today. Someone already has both cars in his garage, the Scud and the GT2. No idea who. Great pair. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dang... that's an amazing garage. Hey Tarek, don't you think the stripes on that Scud look great That car looks exactly as I would order it... given the chance. Frank
looks like corsa red ? hate the rims on the 2 , i bet he paid extra to have them painted ex factory *smacks head*
Both cars belongs to German racer Matthias Weiland and both cars are FOR SALE for rather big premiums. He is chief of MW-Sportive, company making business on flipping Ferraris and Porsches. His web is www.autoweiland.de. Best.
You can tell that it's some kind of re-seller (flipper) or at least a dealer's garage...No license plates on any of the cars (GT2, Scud, Ford GT, CLS, CL)...cars parked too close to each other in storage form and not really that easy to pull out for a drive...and if someone had $$$ to buy all those cars, I think he can afford a slightly bigger garage! And by the way...check out their website that supraman55 put up...his cars are a "bit" over-priced. 222,000 Euros for the GT2...Thats $327,000.
That is German market. Of course, every flipper who have Scuderia or GT2 ready to go from the floor, want to get big premium. Just because he knows for sure that in some weeks he will find a customer who will pay more to get car now. His cars are not the most pricey on the market. Now both Scuderia and GT2 are going for very big premiums in Germany and market is very hot. Both cars will not stay for long time for sale. There are many customers looking to get those two cars now in Germany. Best.
GT2 will have a production run of 1300 cars. I believe it's the same for the Scuderia... I read that the GT2 is not easy to come by in the USA. Several Porsche owners were denied slots by their dealers due to non availability....
yup,....we are lucky as there is no demand for these cars in our country.....and our dealers are more than happy and proud to bring these cars into the country.....now if only we had the roads and the tracks......well, can't have everything can we.......?? oh, and yes, we get the cars sans premium.....
Porsche dealers are getting very common in Middle-East, Asia and Africa - but is there a official Ferrari dealer in Egypt? Does Ferrari decide the limited quantity of cars for each dealer or for each country? Thanks. Just curious and sucking up information. Good luck and have fun!
Yes, there is an official Ferrari dealer in Egypt. If there is no official dealer in the country, there is no allocation of cars to that specific country. Each Ferrari dealer/country has a specific allocation of Ferrari cars per year which is set by Ferrari in Italy. The dealers also must achieve their sales targets set by Ferrari Italy.
what makes the situation here easier for buyers too is surely demographically relates....as said before very few of these cars are sold in egypt. furthermore, there is only one ferrari and porsche dealer/importer/centre in egypt. so the cars allocated to the country are not distributed to several dealers. lets's say, porsche allocates 500 GT2's for germany, they will be allocated to their premium dealers all o´ver the country which will surely result in some dealers not seeing any at all. both, ferrari and porsche have interest in selling more models in emerging markets as to capture the potential that these markets present through exposure of their products. should they start to sell several of their high end offerings in our region then it will result in having to queue up....which, i doubt will happen.
I thought new cars were sold out for years but still there are sales targets? Interesting. Thank you for the reply.
