I'm tired of tire kickers, dreamers and endless questions about how to turn this car back into a street-legal car (not worth the cost or I would have done it already). Spring is around the corner and trackdays begin soon. You need this car. Really.

This is a terrific car: reliable, well maintained, very good body and paint. Bulletproof engine. Cost me over $100K with the turbo conversion and another $40-$50K in maintenance, parts, etc. during the 3 summers I used it. 15,000 miles.

At this point I will entertain ANY REASONABLE OFFER. Feel free to PM me. I have so much else going on right now that you may get the BARGAIN OF THE CENTURY. The car is stored at Classic Coach in Elizabeth, NJ and you may see it there, check it out, do a PPI, whatever. We just changed fluids and battery last week and it started right up.

Please don't make me list this on ebay. I'd be very happy if it went to an enthusiast from Fchat instead.

May I see some pictures of the car? Is this the same car that was at Universal Autosports a couple of years ago?

No. This car was never at Universal. I purchased it from a good friend and had Classic Coach do the turbos.

Thanks to everyone who PM'd me. Instead of responding to the same request over and over, here is a link to another website with all the info and pics I have. I never bother taking pictures of most things.

1997 Ferrari F355 Challenge Twin Turbo Spec Sheet

If anyone is serious about the car and absolutely needs additional pictures (I can't imagine for what reason), I will make the trip to NJ next weekend and take some more pics.

The interior is the same as any other race car. Bare metal everywhere, toggle switches, full cage, electrtic cutoffs in and out, fire suppression in and out. There really is nothing wonderful to photograph about the interior of a race car. It's bare. Body and paint are in very good condition but this is not a concourse car, it's a race car.

    Thanks for the interest

Why can your car not be made street legal? Horsepower 500 - 700hp? That is a large estimated range? I could see around 500hp (ie. 500 - 520 range) but 200 hp? One would think that the company that added the turbo etc. Would dyno it?

200HP could be gained by different fuel, higher boost, ECU tuning and other variables. Certainly not out of the question. Though I know nothing about this 355 engine specifically.
Unless you would remove the cage and re-install all the creature comforts of a street car, it would make a lousy (and unsafe) street car as-is. See the thread in the racing section about streeting a caged car.
