I have tried something very different this time!!
To make something Ferrari related for the walls in the families, where the wife wont let you hang up some bright Ferrari Colors :D

But I'm sorry that my camera won't take some good pics in this dark afternoon... so the colors isn't exactly like they are for real :) But tomorrow I'll try to make some better photos of it.
Because what you can't see very well right now is some red "splatters", that I have used sand in the paint in some places... and that some of the lines are made with brown charcoal.

And after this one i'll try again to make some better ones... and also in bright F-colors... that looks more like the real Ferrari shield :)

alot of talent between the two of you.

great work Tina. I am wondering...since you used paint is that canvas or really heavy paper?
I am a big fan of 300lb and 400lb watercolour paper. Any lighter and things start to go very warped and wavy. Kinda expensive, but worth saving the aggravation of fighting with the paper.

Very nice... looking forward to the next one as well...

    Hi :)
No it's canvas... I never had any luck with paper ;) and I always use acrylic paint... and maybe that's why I can't get the paint to do what I intended to do :D:D
    Thanks for the nice words!!!

    Hi Jim :) thankyou.
It does not take that long .... because I use acrylic paint.. it dries fast and I don't have to wait all the time :) So I guess it took about 7-8 hours.

Cyril, yours has a very liquid chrome and three dimensional look about it. Tina, you should not think of yours as inferior, it isn't. It is just a different style. I really like the border and the patches around the Cavallino, which gives it depth and a warm feel. I agree with your husband, it would be a nice piece for a living room because it has a warm, artistic feel to it. The horse seems a bit one dimensional, but that reminds me of the Cavallino on the back of my TR grill. I prefer the stock black TR Cavallino to the 512TR chrome one, so its just a matter of style and artistic preference. Cyril's might display better in a showroom or ultramodern home (one with lots of chrome). Just my opinions. :)

    Hi Jim,
I know what you're saying with this :) And I WILL get better not to feel less good, when others post something spectacular :D Carsten tells me all the time that I should NEVER compare my work with others... and I know that both you and him are right about that :)

But you know... easier said that done ;)

I know I'm no rembrant or dali.... but I am ME :)
