Despite having just arrived in dealerships, the new Lamborghini Aventador is already involved in a traffic accident, which occurred yesterday (August 30) in an agricultural area in the province of Padua. As we learned, the driver of the powerful Aventador attempted to overtake a column of vehicles that were in the same direction. The last half, a truck, had started the turn left (signposted regularly with the arrow) and the Lamborghini went to clash with the medium heavy damaging the front right. He has already destroyed a telephone pole, a pole and steel fence of a private property, ending his run in a ditch. The incident caused considerable damage to the bodywork and the front wheels (which are completely detached along with refined suspension push-rod), but the carbon monocoque manning perfectly impact while preserving the integrity of the passenger compartment. The windshield has remained incredibly healthy. The driver was not injured and no damage to other people. Most likely the Lamborghini Aventandor damaged will have to return in Sant'Agata bolognese to be restored to its original state. (English)

CF repair is expensive. Hopefully the driver and us readers all learned from this guy's very costly (to him) mistake. The car is awesome but still adheres to the laws of physics.

like the Pagani, this full carbon fiber/CFRP car is incredibly strong and safe in a crash.
By fare better than an aluminium spaceframe like the Gallardo or others.
