I beleive that since the 9/11 Attack and Tragedy, that there are countless americans and foreigners who listen to music. Music is the closest way to reflect our feelings. So what are you listening on the radio this morning?...Or what song do you think reflects humanity or 9/11?

What I am listening to is "The Sunscreen Song" by Baz Lurhman...its not about 9/11...but it does make life easier after hearing the inspiring words.

For those of you who like country, there are many great 9/11 tributes out there. Some of my favorites.
"Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" - Toby Keith. Actually, anything by Toby Keith, but this one especially.
"Where were you when the world stopped turning" - Alan Jackson. Gives me chills every time I hear it.
"Have you forgotton" - Darryl Whorley.
"This ain't no rag, it's a flag" - Charlie Daniels.

    You may push me around
    But you cannot win
    You may throw me down
    But I'll rise again
    The more you say
    The more I defy you
So get out of my face – Whoooa Yeah!

    Chorus:
    You cannot stop us
    You cannot bring us down
    Never give up
    We go on and on!
    You'll never break us
    Never bring us down
    We are alive!

    The wind blows
    I'll lean into the wind
    My anger grows
    I'll use it to win
    The more you say
    The more I defy you
So get out of my way – Whoooa Yeah

    Bridge:
    All my will
    All my strength
    Rip it out
    Start again

    Bridge(3x)

    Chorus

    We are alive

I remember hearing The World I Know by Collective Soul after 9/11. I still remember waking up to that song and hearing the local DJ cry on air. Damn thing gives me the chills.

    RIP to those fallen!

And we'll throw this one in for good measure. Breaking Benjamin, Had Enough.

Milk it for all it's worth.
Make sure you get there first.
    The apple of your eye.
    The rotten core inside.
    We are the prisoners.
    Things couldn't get much worse.
I've had it up to here, you know your end is near.

    [Chorus]
You had to have it all,
    well have you had enough?
    You greedy little bastard,
    you'll get what you deserve.
When all is said and done,
I will be the one to leave you in the misery and hate what you've become.

Intoxicated eyes, the love and myth, that life. You should have learned by now, I'll burn this whole
world down. I need some piece of mind, no fear of what's behind. You think you've won this fight, you've
    only lost your mind.

    [Chorus]
You had to have it all,
    well have you had enough?
    You greedy little bastard,
    you'll get what you deserve.
When all is said and done,
I will be the one to leave you in the misery and hate what you've become.

    Hold me down.

    [Chorus]
You had to have it all,
    well have you had enough?
    You greedy little bastard,
    you'll get what you deserve.
When all is said and done,
I will be the one to leave you in the misery and hate what you've become.

    Heaven help you.

    Heaven help you

Now i remember the song that stuck in my mind all day in the early morning of 9/11...it was "wild wild world" by Cat Stevens. Very eerie now that i think about it.
