    I love the burger joint and eat there when I visit my wife's parent's in Texas or in the south. Lately I've been seeing commercials here in NYC but we don't have any here. What's the deal?

    Fast Food Drive-ins were born in the south and were a southern tradition for a long time in the 50's. I guess they want to keep it that way. Another reason why it's better to live down here. :)

    Having spent time in Houston, I would say that is the only reason. ;)

    People in Texas have had me get them In-N-Out burgers from here by the dozens.

    hardees quarter pounder and 2/3 lb burgers are the best tasting around......they have this '$6' burger but cost $2.99 or something tastes awesome

    In and Out burger, now that's a great burger. Sonic has the best "extras" corndogs, grilled cheese and route 44's. When the wife and I were in Vegas we loved the fact the Venetian hotel had 2 Coffee beans in the hotel, then drove to In and Out burger for burgers and Sonic for the drinks and other things.

    Sonic bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast toaster sandwich and a Route 44 cherry limeade to wash it down. MMMmmmmm. And they will make it any time of the day.

    speaking of hamburg's you cant get locally reminds me how much I miss those Harvey's ones with great toppings I use to get on my trips to Montreal. Besides the strip joints and Canadian beer that use to be my favorite part of going there. Anyone know if we got any of them in the States?

    Mike the pictures don't do it justice. They are really very good. :) You can order them with as many patties as you want.
