Folks, (this is a two-parter...related but unrelated)

    A) I have searched the site up and down and scrutinized many threads . Still trying to find out the definitive (but elusive) difference between TDF, LeMans and Swatters. People have posted many excellent photos, but sometimes without the requisite data to resolve this lingering question.

TDF is highly metallic and is the "lightest/brightest" of the three, LeMans appears to have purple undertones at times and Swatters is well...Swatters. Not enough data to draw a valid conclusion at this time.

    B) The following two cars were photographed in the same place, under the same lights and probably with the same camera. The issue? They are both said to be TDF (per the website) but are glaringly different. There seem to only be two hypotheses: The site has posted the wrong data and the cars are two different colors OR if they both are actually TDF, is it Glasurit FER 522 vs. Glasurit FER 522/C?

Sorry for my anal retentiveness on this issue, but my profession requires attention to detail. I am out of airspeed and ideas and looking for an assist from the esteemed members here. When providing answers, please state which question you are providing insight to A or B.

    Danke, Gratze, Merci, Domo.

My personal experience from photographing several TDF and other blue Ferraris tells me that the first car is too bright to be any of the three blues you mentioned. But then again those are some bright studio lights & I've never photographed a Ferrari under those conditions.

Cruise on over to a dealer and ask to see their color book.
