Hi all. This won't really affect our many Uk and European customers, more those outside Europe. Due to a new EC directive we are not allowed to supply any Ferrari part in the traditional yellow box with the horse logo until further notice. Apparently (and don't quote me on this) there is some pigment in the yellow ink on the box that when put under an airport UV scanner turns into a light black ink, thus the horse will not show up. We are told that there is an EC ruling about shipping totally black packaging outside Europe, something to do with being a security risk. Until we have figured this one out we will be shipping in plain brown card boxes. I know that this is pretty trivial really but I know some of you collect the boxes and appreciate the prestige that getting a yellow box in the mail provides. Cheers.
Just wrap the stuff in torn pages from Hustler magazines - customs should have no problems letting it breeze through.
