Anybody using the QuickSilver rear mufflers on the 550 or 575?
How would you describe the sound at idle , at 2000 rom and at cruising (say 80mph). I like a sporty sound but not too loud. The muffler internals on their web site
    http://www.quicksilverexhausts.com/technology.asp#silencerconstruction
look like a set of organ pipes so presumably one gets lots of harmonics but is it too loud?
Would the sound get tiresome on a long drive? How does it compare with the new Tubi (series 3)?
    I already have FerrariFixers X-pipe.
    Thanks for your input,
    Ron

It will sound similar to your Tubi exhaust.

Funny you should mention my Tubi, I have it on the floor in front of me and its half empty inside - big space and a baffle, cant see much more. The QuickSilver has lot of pipes inside.

Remember.........less is more when it comes to exhaust design, keep it simple.

    Ron,

I have the quick silver muffler and you could hardly notice it, has a low rumble
at idle otherwise it is non existant, I added a stebro and it sounds a lot
    better now

    Dear Tarek,
Good to hear that the idle is quiet, that will please the neighbors. When you say you added a Stebro do you mean an X-pipe?

Has to be the most unknown exhaust, best bang for your buck and nicest sound I have heard on a 550, made me buy it for my 348. Not tingy like a tubi, much heavier sound IMHO.

Yes, I added the Stebro x pipe, which kicks in at higher rpm's.
