Hey guys, The amplifier in my 430 stopped working on the left side. Dealer said I have a bad amplifier. I want to swap it for an aftermarket unit that will fit and swap easily. I do not want to cut nor splice any wires. My thoughts are to replace amp first, then radio, then speakers last. I'm not looking for anything too loud. Just want a decent sounding stereo, easy to operate. Your suggestions are always greatly appreciated. Edgar BTY, my car has the two speakers between seats.
Easy to operate.. that would not be how I describe the OEM radio! I agree, speak with Mike about it but it's my belief that good sound is a sum of it's parts, and a good stereo is a matched system and not pieced together. I would look at the new Ferrari Clarion, new speakers, and amp. You will get beautiful sound, touchscreen NAV, Bluetooth phone, Streaming audio from Pandora, itunes, or USB.. and even a back up camera if you want one!
