If anyone has pictures of a sound system installed in their car or someone else's I am trying to get some ideas of what to do. I would like to see a multi disk CD changer and location for a 10 inch or so sub woofer. Location for amp, etc.

I put the 12 CD changer in the trunk vertically on the firewall bulkhead. In the cockpit I glued the remote up top on the center light console so I dont have to reach forward w my race harness on. There was no room for a bazooka sub. I placed the amp in the passenger footwell

If I recall, there is a rear shelve in all TRs on which you can have a box made.

I did exactly that on my 90 tr when I had it. The 512 does have a shelf but also has a access door behind the passenger seat for the computers (I think). I was wondering if anyone but a box there. In my old car I had the amp behind the passenger, the 10" sub in the center and the cd changer behind my seat. It was cover in leather and looked stock. The cleanest job out there. I also changed the tweeters and mid speakers.

I have the amp in my M in the front in the well, then on the shelf behind the seats is a speaker compartment that sits on the shelf and is retained by the straps. In the event you need access to the computer behind the passenger seat, you just remove the speaker "box"

I never thought of an I pod adapter and if it's available it is a great idea.

Update. I'm at it again. Car Tronics in Nashville is putting a new sound system in my car. I'm using a head unit with a single cd player in it and will have XM radio and a I Pod instead of a cd changer. Should be ready in 3 or 4 days and then we will see. I'm fired up over it.

I have XM in the TR. I also have shakers vs subs under the seats. They provide plenty of bass and feel. I kept the rear shelf clean. Replaced the other speakers under the current enclosures. Amp is in trunk.
