Hi, I have searched but only found the wheel decal sets for wheels with the three decals @ $42/wheel from Italian car parts.

I'm redoing my 1988 3.2 Mondial wheels and the spare only has a single "Ferrari 7Jx16" decal opposite the valve stem. The rears would need the 8J x16

Does anyone know a source for these decals/ Thanks

Good question, and while we are on the subject, can we denote if the potential candidates offer water transfer decals vs. peel off stickers?

Those 'look' like one big peel-and-apply sticker, as they require you to cut out around each of the letterings with a pair of scissors.

Not as clean of a finished look as the water transfer decals, as dirt can get in and stick to the border edges of the lettering at the cut lines. The water transfer decals end up looking much cleaner.

Should anyone order these from Ferrari Part Sex Change, please post here as to their composition.

    Thanks - DM

I did so I will advise. They looked like water solubles to me, but I guess I'll find out. Maybe thats why they are $20 for a set of four wheels and the others I found were $42/ wheel ;)

10 years ago when I bought the K&N wheels from Superformance they came with stickers that included what you are looking for. But they were stickers, not decals or transfers. Dirt and brake dust highlight the outline of the sticker making it look like a sticker. I do not recommend. Perhaps they have gotten better in the last 10 years. I wouldn't count on it.

So finally able to tell this story. I ordered these stickers from Ferrari Parts Exchange online. On line the quantity says 1 but supposed to include 4 pieces of paper. Anyway, my order came and there was only 1 sticker so i called and the guy Doug said someone in the warehouse didn't understand that 1 quantity meant "set of four". He said hed personally go after our phone call and mail the other 3.... that was 3 months ago... after the initial order was in January. Needless to say I'm not impressed with FPE. I still have yet to receive the other 3 stickers from them.

By chance I found some here on F Chat. Seller shipped them same day and I installed them on my wheels a couple days ago. His were from Superformance. They are in fact stickers not water transfer. The ones from FPE are also stickers. I installed mine over 2 coat of clear and under two coats of clear. If you look close you can see the outline of the boarder but being under clear they should not collect dust. Next time I do this I will put them under all coats of clear and the outline should be far less noticeable. I had to put them between coats of clear because I used base coat clear coat for the wheels and had to cover the base within a certain time. THEY are super sticky so use great care installing them. I messed up one of the 7x16 stickers and it did not come off 100% the way I wanted. I got it off and put on a new one but not perfect.

I am also in the process of redoing my Mondial 3.2 wheels and would like to keep originality... Is there any current source for the stickers other than Ferrari Parts Exchange?

Side question: How Did you prepare the metal before primer? To my knowledge the wheels are partlymagnesium and therefore a bit delicate to work with...
