Does anyone out there have a good source for quality automotive electrical wire as well as crimp connectors, spade terminals, etc?
I enjoy fabricating electrical harnesses and I'm talking about 100 ft spools, not industrial sizes.

For most applications of wiring for automotive use, you would want to look at the line of wire they call Cross-Link wire. It is rated to 125 deg C, water and oil resistant. They also carry cables such as battery cables, CAN bus cables, etc. I think maybe the min order size is 250 feet. You can get the exact same wire in smaller lot sizes from Del City ... Del City - Electrical Supplies & Professional Grade Wiring Products ... but, you will pay more per foot.

For electric connectors such as crimp connectors, spade terminals, etc. I have found the best source is ElecDirect.com ... Home page | ElecDirect

For high quality multi-conductor cable for automotive use, I have found Automation Direct to be good source ... The best way to buy industrial controls--low prices, fast shipping and superior service.
They have very good prices on SJEOOW and SEOOW flexible multi-conductor cables. But you have to buy in bulk of 200 feet or so.

    Regards,

    Steve

aircraft avionics shops have wiring where the insulation is printed with specific numbers in addition to color coding...this allows for exact identification of what the wire is designated for... ( provided that a record is kept )... great when trouble shooting later or when things go wrong, each wire is unique and easily recognized in a bundle all along its' route... you can ask where they source their supply, most are willing to fill your order
