I'm looking for a four post and a two post garage lift. Anyone know a good source?

I have a four post DP-7000 that I bought from a distributor in the Dallas area in 2003. I can't find his name or contact info, but the lift has been great. As I recall it was MUCH less than the $6000+ quote I've gotten today. My DP-7000 does not have a lot of bells and whistles, no enclosed cables, but for what I need it doesn't need to be anything fantastic.

Any advice on a source much appreciated.

Thanks a million! I've just left a message with the highly touted "Doug Pruitt at American Garageworks 817.219.1455". Did you go with them?

    Mark,

Bought my 4 posts and 2 posts from a Rotary Distributor here in SA.

    Carl Turner Equipment Company

All three installed were right at $12,000.

Will be going with them...decided to build a new house with a bigger garages first. :)

Doug has been EXTREMELY helpful in providing advice on the best garage configuration with our builder (double lift vs. 2 singles, ceiling height, high mount doors, side mount opener, type of doors etc.) Prices are reasonable and he clearly knows his stuff.

Just look at my garage at MSR and you'll see good Doug Pruitt's work is!

I was also very impressed with his flexibility as the specs of the build out changed here and there. He went out of his way every time, even after the sale, to make things perfect. His prices are also quite a bit better than the other figures quoted here.
