I sent my gauges out to Nick and just got them back and they look marvelous. I know they're hidden from view, but does anyone know a source for the knurled nut that is used to hold a gauge to the instrument panel. I'm not even sure what it's proper name is to try searching for it. See front & back pics if you're not sure what I'm referring to.

    Ron, nothing wrong with yours...
I can most likely get you some next week, but they will look very similar.
If you are still set on this issue,
    How many?
    Regards, Alberto

PS McMaster Carr, most likely, or Metric Fasteners Supply, google it.

I'm looking for some because I have a few that didn't like being loosened with pliers and their outer `threads' have a lot less grip to them now. I'd say 2-4 would take care of the somewhat mangled ones. Yes, the one in the photo is probably one of the best ones.

They do, and I am a faithful customer, but the knurls are wrong. I know, because
I have them, not for Dino use.

They just don't look right and at concours there might be point deductions....;-)

Ron, just get them, much easier.

    Regards, Alberto

You mean I won't have to worry about a concours judge asking to see my (gauges) knurled nuts? Whew! It was a pain getting the instrument panel out first time, so that's good news.

    Ron,

They look great... enjoy in good health.

I have plenty of these knob-screws... I'll package them and send them out... how many do you need?
