Does anyone know a US vendor capable of rebuilding the 355 ABS master cylinder?

I did do a search, but did not find anything.

I have a 1987 Alfa Romeo 75 race car with the exact same ABS system as the 355, and it seems the ABS master has failed. Pump, accummulator, pressure switch, and wheel speed sensors are all good. A fellow Alfisti suggested solenoid stuck as pedal would go to floor, and return fluid was seen splashing in the ABS reservoir. NO pedal pressure could be re-gained by pumping the pedal, it would keep going to the floor. It cured itself after sitting 3 hours in the pit, but something is obviously not right, and clearly not a good situation on track, in traffic, should it re-occur. Air in lines was not an issues.

    Thanks,
    Jes

Try hitting up GT Car Parts in Arizona. Plugzit bought a rebuild kit from them for his 348 clutch master cylinder, so it's possible then have one for the brake master cylinder in your 355.

    Thanks! - will try.

BTW, I don't have a 355 (I have a 360). This 355 ABS master rebuild is for my Alfa Romeo race car which uses the same ABS system and components as the 355.

Thanks for the pointer - will give them a call. Hopefully, they do ATE ABS master cylinders too.

The ABS pump on the Alfa can be replaced by a Buick Reatta pump (the same - just splice in the Buick plugs on the Alfa harness), although those pumps are hard to come by these days - used to be about $300-$400 for the pump, and about $100 for the accumulator. Should fit the 355 as well.
