I've probably replaced my wife's iPad digitizer at least 4 times. Once, due to a crack and the other times due to failure of the unit. They're typically good for 6 months or so, then they go crazy. Apple, being Apple wants more for repair than the device is worth. I've steadily gone up in price for replacements on AMZ without a detectable increase in quality. Anybody know of a vendor that will sell me one that may make it longer than 6 months? (Apple won't sell just the part) I hate waste, don't want this ending up in a landfill but a new iPad is on the horizon...
You may want to check out https://www.rossmanngroup.com/ and see what he recommends. I have been really impressed with his repair work. He also has a Youtube channel that shows his repairs.
