Doing a major on my 89 mondial-t and wanted to touch up some underside areas. Any recommendations for source for the black paint used for the frame and the underside areas?

Match?? Let me recommend Eastwood rust encapsulator. Flat black but more like a semi.Has some sheen. Two coats. Comonaly refered to as a rust converter. Wire brush, degrease, two coats brushed on. Yes comes in spray too. Get a quart can and a throw away brush. Gtsbruce

My favorite is SEMs black self-etching primer; Part # 39673. It is easy to apply, dries quick with a nice satin sheen and it is very rust resistant also, it adheres to Aluminium. Here are some reviews Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: SEM 39683 Grey Self Etching Primer - 15.5 oz.. I've used the spray gun version and did not like it as well. Also, I've used it many times for under-hood painting; it sticks well to paint and is very durable and easy to touch-up.

SEM is the best stuff to use. If you're looking for the textured paint found on 80's era Ferrari's use the Heavy Texture Chip Guard. If you want a smooth, satin finish use their Trim Black.
