Interesting if true. Maybe it was supposed to be unveiled during the Monterey Car Week but that was canceled as far as I know.

Skeptical about how this will look...F40 a very ''square'' design, modern car design language is very different these days.

@Albert-LP said they're two different models, this one-off and the Icona.

I'm also curious about the styling elements that will be incorpotated onto this new SP (intakes shaped more like NACA ducts, big wing..), we'll see. In terms of power, I think 720 from the same TT V8 we all know and about weight, well..how lower can they go? The Pista, for example, is already pretty light..unless they can build more panels out of carbon fiber and strip the interiors even more.

No, I just told this is not an icona car: it's an SP. No idea if the F40 tribute is this SP or a future icona

    Ciao

Ah ok, what I meant is this SP is a different thing, not an Icona model. Or, at least, that how I've read your previous post:

"What I saw It's an one off, a special project and not an icona car: the Icona car is another."

Sorry for the confusion and looking forward to next week (if they plan to unveil it publicly). Still no idea either about the "F40-inspired Icona".

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For me it is a waste of an 812...

Is this SP based on a 812 really called SP42?

No, just Omologata, but I see so many different cars in this design, they should have called it SP-Many :)

Omologata is SP43. A photographer of the car, working for Ferrari, posted a twitter with the text "shooting SP43" SP42 will be kept secret to my opinion (as so many SP cars of ferrari in the past)

My thoughts as well. Too bad it wasn't publicly unveiled (if that's actually the case).
