Often the case. But, a couple of the more enterprising shops are having runs fab'd. Obviously, can't fab up and inventory everything, but the more common wear and tear items aren't completely unobtainable any longer. Otherwise, Michelotto (Costalotto) will be more than happy to sell you something, if and when they get around to it. What you also find is a certain camaraderie in that one owner will loan out his spares for patterning and duplication (or even usage, if necessary). We've done this on occasion and sometimes needed parts in a pinch, too. CW
