    Hi all,
I received a phonecall this afternoon from a friend who just has his 308 finished. He got the car last year as a birthday present (his girlfriend bought it for 10.000 euro). The car needed A LOT of TLC, a bucket of elbow greese, a shipload of replacement parts, etc... As a mather of fact he managed to drive it for about 30 km before the car's engine gave up. Luckely the guy's a former Maserati mechanic blessed with a house with enough space to work on his cars himself.
Now, he hopes to have the car finished by the Spa Ferrari Days end of june and he would like to know where to reserve a place in the paddock area and what the prices are.
    Anyone??
    Jurgen

As far as I know every Ferrari and Maserati is allowed in the paddock that weekend. You can just drive the Ferrari there and buy a normal visitors entrance ticket. I know people who did it like this in the past.

Off course he could also take the Ferrari Club VIP-package with diner and everything but those extra's are gonna cost him a lot!

Great story BTW! I hope he gets the car ready in time!

    Thank you Alex,
I thought I read that trick somewhere lately here on the site. I'll send it over to him and hope he gets it ready in time for sure.

I am planning just to drive there with the Mondial and buy an entrance ticket.
Think all Ferrari's and Maserati's are allowed to park inside the track.

Just drive to Spa and get a visitors pass. Around 15 Euro last year. For using the track and the lunch, 150 Euro in 2004 for driver and car + 100 Euro if you had a co-pilot. Last year it was possible to get the VIP tickets at the clubhouse located in Spa. This year, I think it's only thru reservation thru Ferrari club Belgium.
I will be there at 0900 on friday, ready to use the track.

    Didier
