He was the light of the race... great drive by him, as he usually does in Spa....
On another note... Pizzaboy was on dry tires.... so go figure.....

Why didn't Rubens change his tires on his second to last stop?

Thanks a lot, Pizzaboy. I had picked Kimi, Montoya, Alonso on F1 Tipping.

I thought Button did a great job today. The pass on Villeneuve especially. It was exciting without ever crossing into danger. He may have been handed third place and a podium finish, but I think he worked well and hard for 4th.

His teamate on the other hand...well, lets just say I am looking forward to his replacement next season.

Remember the Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times"?

    Spa in the rain: Interesting.

MS & JPM: the Spa RancorChumps. ;)

Times when it's fun to have three announcers at SpeedTV:
    1: "Is that Montoya?!"
    2: "What happened?!"
3: "Just look at the name on the side of the car"

Okay, that last comment was probably in response to the first. But what fun implications to it being a response to the 2nd. :D

seeing as how Webber made 4 stops and JV only had one stop and still finished behind MW seems Weber may be able to push the pig around the track ok :D

I think the funniest thing about this race was that the 4 most likely drivers to hit each other did!

Lets face it MS hasn't finished a race without hitting anybody for ages .

Anyway this time it was NOT his fault

As for Montoya ... and Pizza (on slicks I think!!!!) ... gee fncken whiz!!

Me too, had also trifecta KR, JPM, FA. 15 Finishers. So that "cost" me 85 points.

Um one driver missed the boat this time - refering to Webber of course who had a quiet race by his usual standards :)

True that! Was a good race for Fisi too till he went bass ackwards on Red Water :)

I noticed a curious thing in the race. Michael was ahead of Rubens till the first pit stop - he was hounding Alonso for sometime - but then he was later behind Barrichello before he got punted by S(h)ato. How did that happen?

Michael came in on lap 12 for tires -- drys. Rubins came in on lap 12 for fuel. Micheal came back in on lap 13 for intermediate tires after trying drys for one lap.

Button, Webber, Pizzaboy, Coulthard, Klein, etc, etc. also did double pits during the SC period.

There were so many double pits that I was wondering if it was the FIA rule against doing tires and fuel in the same stop (which, apparently, was in abeyance with the wet tire waiver in effect).
