Only 8 (eight) Ferrari's registrated on the SpaItalia website so far... The other Italian makes listings aren't really overwhelming yet either BTW... Things will change very soon as the date approaches I guess... Anyone intrested in registrating their car... make sure to do so before 15th of May if you would like to benefit from the discount you'll get that way AND the express/fast lane entry (avoid the queue)... Anyone planning to track their car this year? http://www.spaitalia.be/ And one week later allready Spa Ferrari Days...
Normally I am a regular visitor of both events but this year I can't join both of them Familyweekend and business/holiday trip to turkye.
Have to choose between SpaItalia and Ferrari Days... So no SpaItalia for me! Last edition was great, I think this year there will be less to see.
Not specifically about the Spa Ferrari Days, but more in general: http://www.ferraricorseclienti.com Expected to appear in Spa: 360/430 Challenge, Historic Challenge, F1 Clienti, FXX Sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it??? I will be there for sure!
I did it a few times a long time ago... when I didn't have a driver's licence yet... Spa is indeed reachable by train like Jurgen already said... However, I experienced the connection with Verviers to be much better... back then at least... maybe it's improved by now...? I used the trains Sint-Niklaas-Antwerp, Antwerp-Brussels and then Brussels-Verviers (towards Aachen)... in Verviers there was a bus directly to Francorchamps... Public transport isn't the most ideal to get to Francorchamps... If I was leaving from home you could have a ride with me too... but I'll be starting my journey to Spa in Limburg again... from my girlfriend's parents house as usuall...
Hi there Jurgen. Everything fine? My routeplanner says 264km if you're going straight over Brussels, 301km if you travell over Antwerp... We could meet somewhere if you want? For SpaItalia I could get you inside the paddock for free Unless you've bought a Italian car in the meanwhile?
Do I understand this right? When you are a visitor you pay 8 euro per day as an entrance fee. But if you display your Italian car on the paddock, so that all the visitors can see it, touch it, take pictures of it and possibly damage it, you have to pay 55 euro? It is a funny world! But I think that it is a great event! What is the experience of past visitors?
Hi Ton, it's a very friendly event. Not so big as the Fdays at all. A lot of other cars attend this event. See my pix of last year: http://community.webshots.com/album/355788556iAhGzE http://community.webshots.com/album/355915702Ehtson http://community.webshots.com/album/355930082zNzXOi http://community.webshots.com/album/355982953rwWNIE Regards Jurgen
Cool, I'll look into it. Maybe I take that route to get there. In the meanwhile, we've been very busy working at home (garage, rooms, etc) that's also the reason I wasn't here some much lately, so the Italian has to wait a bit. I've been looking around though and what I saw I didn't like much. A lot of ù$^µù^$ on the market. Jurgen
I'm trying to convince my father to drive there in our Lancia Dedra SW, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand, but he doesn't want to .
I am still in doubt about visiting SpaItalia. Not many Ferrari's have registered yet. But I definitely want to visit the Ferrari Days at Spa. Most probably I will be there on the 24th and the 25th of June.
