Next week I'll travel to Barcelona to attend the Spanish GP on Sunday. Would be nice to meet up with some FChatters.

I heard the European Gumball rally is planning on going to the GP?

I guess you got your tickets way ahead of time, there are no avilable entrance tickets since a month an a half ago!!!

I was thinking about it, but if I can't see the race, it won't be the same.

    Have fun!!!

BTW, though I love to Ferrari, I hope this time Alonso wins!!! :)

I would like to go and yesterday there were still tickets available. But I´m afraid that I´m too much busy to go this year.

Ah, I don´t mind for Alonso, he works for the enemy. Forza Ferrari!!!

DeSoto, where did you find tickets. They told me they were out!

    Thanks.

Take a look at the web site of the Circuit de Catalunya or at the site of "La Caixa". You can buy tickets too at the RACC offices. But there is room only in some grandstands, the "pelousses" are full. This was a few days ago, maybe it´s all sold out now.

Thanks, I see it, wow it is going to get expensive. I have to think it twice, but is tempting.

What I hate is that my company used to be a F1 sponsor, and we had 5 padock passes for every GP. But I never had a chance to get my hands in one of those, Marketing always got them, and all of theose guys don't really care for the F1. :(

    Thanks DeSoto.

Yeah, very expensive. The guys of the "Circuit" are getting profit from the "Alonsomania". When I went to the Spanish GP 4 years ago it was a lot cheaper and I was surrounded by German and French spectators, I only found three or four Spanish (no kiddin´).

    I *MIGHT* be going... :)

Someone told me he might have some free tickets for me, but most probably he won't be able to confirm until next week :(

    I'll keep you informed!

Grrrr, lucky. No pelouse tickets available, only tribune, and not very good, starting at 400€. My 'other half' will leave if I spend even 400 in one day event!!

    TV for me this time.

    Padock, almost 3000 Euros!!! Gosh!!!

Let me know if you want to meet before the GP on Sunday. Until about noon it will be pretty boring...

That'd be cool. It will be my first GP, also first time at Montmeló Circuit. I guess I'll be around the paddock area... ¿? I'm actually a bit lost right now :D, I have no idea how it all works once there. Is it your first time at Barcelona?

    My first time in Barcelona.

If you have VIP tickets you will pass "the holy gate" to the paddock Club. There is normally only one way in and we could actually meet there. A friend of mine has also Paddock Club tickets (guest of Sauber), so I'll meet him just outside that gate as well.

When you have Paddock Club tickets, you normally get a programme with it and it will normally have a time listed for when you can walk the pit lane on Sunday morning. Please check whether you find that timeline and we can work around it.

    Julio, I'm curious...

Where did you learn about the Paddock Club tickets to cost about 3000 euros???

Unfortunately I won't be able to look at the programme until saturday in Barcelona. I could try to meet you Sunday morning, can you think of an unmistakable place in the Paddock area or just outside? Maybe that "holy gate"?

Just checked at La Caixa (Servicaixa, ticket sales) and tickets are organised by circuit areas and grandstands, it doesn't mention paddock area at all... ¿?¿?¿?
