Does anybody have a spare 308 GTB steering rack (RHD) or can recommend a supplier or re-manufacturer?

Or does anyone know if its a standard/stock part from any other car?

Eurospares & Superformance do them I think and somewhere here is an extensive discussion about whether the components are from a Mini or a Ford so try 'search'

AFAIK, superformance just do the actual rack and pinion gear sets... and not whole racks... although maybe they do?

What exactly do you need... they are repairable?

FWIW, a RHD 308 rack is the same as a LHD Austin Allegro..!!

Yes but sadly the square steering wheel from an Allegro does not fit a 308 - wouldn't that be a style statement !

ha ha LOL... what a design landmark that was.... a car (!) with a square steering wheel...

I took great pleasure in using a 1300 Allegro estate car as an old banger in a field and taught a mate to drive in it...
