The stated change interval in my owner's manual for my OTO 2008 612 is 30,000 miles or 3 years. A very respected Ferrari mechanic once told me that 3 years is too soon (who puts 30,000 miles on their car in that time).

What number of years or mileage to you guys recommend for spark plug replacement? Note: Since the car is out of warranty, not following Ferrari's guidelines doesn't have warranty coverage implications.

I would stick to the milage indication and not to the indicated years. The plugs do not deteriorate by resting, in contrast e.g. to oil.

Change at a major service interval.
