Hello, looking to do some ignition maintenance by change the spark plug wires and distributor cap. I don't have the patience to cut and make wires, so I'm looking at either of these two:

    https://mrfiat.com/ferrari-400i-spark-plug-cables-set.html

    http://www.superformance.co.uk/v12/ignition.html

Anyone use either of them or can recommend another set? Wonder if I should go ahead and change the cap just because of age. It seems Superperformance UK has the best price, even when converting to pounds.

    Thanks,

    David

Well, not exactly what your are asking, but I had some positive experience with http://www.ccee.nl/accuspark/htleads.htm . The seller is really helpful and can make whatever size and feature you may ask. Ordered specified and paid on Wednesday evening, delivered by the postman on Saturday.

As I have a dedicated crimping ratchet tool, I've ordered some "half assembled" HT leads. Only the distributor side was crimped, not the plug terminals. This made it easy to route the cables through the eyelets without pry-opening (and damaging) these eyelets. Note however that the kit was sent with "jaws" that would allow anyone to make the final crimp without the expensive ratchet tool.

I bought the 8mm (spiral wound) cables that are a tight fit, the 7mm cheaper cables would be probably easier to work with.

As a bonus one can buy a few spare terminals and fix the harness in case something goes wrong during spark-plug change.
