    Funny you are talking gap at this moment. I just swapped out my plugs, same plugs just new...set the gap at .025 per manual and it runs like crap. Checked the old gaps and they were all around .030-.032. This is on an 81 GTSi. I am now going in to change the gaps ;)

    What do you have now and how does she run?

    BTW...good news is my compression test came out mostly 180 with two cylinders at a tad over 175 :)

    really ? Once you have loosened the plug with the wrench one or two rotations, use a piece of hose, which fits tight on the spark plug's isolator and you can easily remove the plugs by hand.
