One of my speakers is blown...what is the best speaker that will fit with the original covers?

    Thanks,

5 1/4 with no problems, alot the the audiophiles go up to 6 1/2 but then you have to cut panel. I put $100 Alpines with a 50 watt receiver & sounds great.

Yea, pretty small...I have some Boston #something in now, but am really looking into a two element/crossover system like the Alpine SPR-136A.

Enjoythemusic sent me a Nakamichi model number, similar, that got thinking along those lines....

Hi Tex-Crutchfield gave them very good reviews....have you thought about where/how you would mount the tweeter/midranges?

Enjoy the music suggested up on the dash pointed towards the windshield, reflecting the highs off the glass....

If you didn't want to perforate the dash, I think up on or maybe just under the armrest would work! By the switches.

Yea, I'm looking at the Crutchfield catalog.

Stash the crossovers under the dash somewhere or maybe in the doors.....
