I just spent the day working around the new house still trying to get myself even half settled (yeah right) and came across this beauty at our local Ford Dealer in my travels (in a borrowed Mini-van).

They just got it and yep, it's Blue with the White stripe (my favorite). Also has the Macintosh Audio package, BBS wheels and Charcoal interior. Finally got a chance to sit in one (I actually fit...with little room to spare at 6'2) and it's a very enticing machine.

I unfortunately have a new BIG house which is currently sucking the life out of me so I won't be able to ponder a purchase. However, if anyone else is interested I'll be happy to introduce you to the owner of the dealership who is keeping a very close eye on it. When I asked how much they were looking for they said $200k...I smiled, let them know that I do know my ass from my elbow and they smiled back and said "make an offer". :)

BTW...sticker is just shy of $167k.

Here are a few shots from my Treo.

What's that great looking tandem cab truck behind the blue car? Do you have any more pics that don't block the truck so much?

I know a guy who just picked one up for sticker, just over $160k, brand new right off the dealer floor.

If anyone is pondering a GT purchase, I will tell you that you are negotiating from power. Domestic dealers have no floor traffic/business coming in. It is a very unusually slow time in the new car retail business.

Actually, they have special SVT mechanics to work on the car from what I hear.

They can't be any worse than BMW service mechanics...

With all due respect, you SERIOUSLY need to find something else to complain about. Seriously.

I can't believe what dealers are trying to ask. Smithtown Ford on LI has a wite with blue stripes. List is $167k and they're asking $230k!

Thats interesting about the SVT mechanics, I was not aware of them

What's your problem with BMW mechanincs, most of the dealer's in Jersey are pretty good; the only dealer I dont reccomend going to is BMW of Manhattan, they are just terrrible.

Do a search for threads started by Sharif that include the words "BMW" and "Noone gives a rat's ass"

Seriously, what am I seriously complaining about, seriously ?

I didn't even mention you friend's dealership, did I ? I was simply saying that even "higher end" cars have ****ty mechanics too. I don't know what you're problem is. You don't even know me and what type of person I am, so relax...

Since you want to bring it back up: YOUR FRIEND'S DEALERSHIP HABBERSTAD BMW IS A TOTAL PIECE OF ****. THEY LIE TO THE CUSTOMERS, THEY CLAIM TO REPAIR THINGS THEY NEVER DO, THEY FLAT OUT DO HORRIBLE WORK. THEY TOTALLY RUINED MY CAR, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. EVERYTHING I EVER SAID ABOUT THEM HAS BEEN TRUE, I DONT MAKE **** UP.

As for finding other things to complain about, my life is great, I don't have anything else to complain about. I apologize that you're life is so ****ty that you have to read so much into my post. Also, Thanks for changing my password on inside the EC, shows how insecure you are. I've met most of the guys on there and thankfully they're not as messed up as you. Grow up. With all due respect of course...

    You don't even know me...

BTW do you still feel the same way about Muslim people as you did before, you racist. I seem to remember something you said about internment camps and putting all of them there. Of course, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure Rehan is Muslim, and you pretend to be so buddy buddy. I hate phony people like you.

I wasn't laughing at your situation, I was just laughing at the comment. Sub Frame damage is common with E46's, having them being handled inproperly is not.

no worries man, I am on those boards. I just don't post too much, I know all too well about the sub frame problems. The problem I had/have is the way Emils friend's at habberstad BMW took care of my car. That's the reason why he took offence, his friend owns the dealership.

Here;s another thing... during my inspection II they swore up and down they changed my spark plugs. I didn't believe them so I check, the plugs were never changed. They billed BMW for work never completed. Who knows what else they "didn't know" they were suppose to do.

In their defense they eventually did the work (I hope) after emailing the Owner.
