I just ordered a new 360 Rear Challenge Grill from Exotic Auto Recycling (BTW they were real nice to work with) and after reading a few of the tech installs I didn't notice anyone saying that you should or should not disconnect the battery. I also am wondering because of some older posts if I should have it powdercoated before I put it on.
    What's your opinion?

I wouldn't powder coat it, it closes the holes up and removes some of its effectiveness.

I never have disconnected the battery while doing the grill swap, never had an issue.
